Smokey Buffalo Wings

  • Servings: 24 appetizers
  • Cooktime: 25 min
  • Main Ingredient: Chicken Wings

  • 12 chicken wings, split and tips removed (about 2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons WRIGHT'S® Liquid Smoke
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Carrots and celery sticks
  • Prepared Blue Cheese Dressing

Broil chicken wings for 10 to 12 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, heat hot sauce, WRIGHT'S® Liquid Smoke, butter, chicken broth and salt to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 1 minute. Dissolve cornstarch in water, slowly pour into simmering mixture, stirring constantly. Heat until mixture thickens and begins to boil; remove from heat. In bowl, combine cooked wings and hot sauce mixture, tossing to coat well. Arrange wings and vegetable sticks on serving platter. Serve with blue cheese dressing for dipping.
